The preschool frameworks forum announced this morning (Sunday) that they will not be able to open the upcoming school year in the current situation.

This, in the background of the price committee's intention to increase the amount of parents' payments, and the closing of many educational frameworks for ages 0-3 due to a lack of manpower.

The members of the forum described a collapse of the frameworks, called for the salary of nannies to be compared to helpers in the municipal kindergartens, and protested the price committee's intention to raise parents' payments and shift the burden onto them.

They called on Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman to resolve the crisis before the start of the school year.

"We emphasize that we will not be able to open the upcoming school year," the members of the forum said at a press conference, "the State of Israel has neglected preschool education for many years."

"The branch is promiscuous."

"On September 1, tens of thousands of parents will be left without a solution. The price basket committee proposed a plastron that puts a finger in the parents' eyes and asks them for more money that they don't have to pay, and certainly doesn't solve the critical manpower crisis here. We warned for a long time that we wouldn't be able to continue operating the dormitories Today," said chairman Naamat Hagit Par. "More and more dormitories are closing.

They were left without dormitories and without personnel.

Therefore, we will not be able to open the school year on September 1.

I am calling on the Minister of Finance - resolve this before the school year."

Amunah chairperson Liora Minka described the "collapse" of the frameworks as a result of the lack of personnel, and accused that "proposals unrelated to reality" are coming from the treasury. "We close dormitories every day.

Hundreds of classes were closed this year.

About ten thousand children will not have a place in daycare and their parents will have no way to go to work.

It's time to pay proper wages to day care educators.

They say that you do holy work - with holy work you do not close the month.

We call for their salary to be compared to assisting in municipal gardens.

We are shocked that in the end it always comes back to the parents.

They talk about the cost of living and want to put the burden specifically on young couples.

The state needs to put its hand in its pocket.

We call on the Minister of Finance to show responsibility and allow the crisis to be resolved before September 1.

We will be ready every day and hour."

Witzu CEO Mira Mins joined in. "Do we really need to explain again that a child is not born at the age of three?

From birth to the age of three the branch is promiscuous.

Great hopes developed after we moved to the Ministry of Education.

At least ten thousand children will be left without dormitories.

All the promises for a salary increase were not fulfilled.

Early childhood education is not a luxury, it is part of the state's duty.

We demand an increase of at least 20% in the salary of educators-caregivers."
