Damascus-SANA
Temperatures remain 1 to 3 degrees Celsius higher than their average as a result of the country being affected by the extension of the superficial Indian monsoon depression, which is associated with northwesterly currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The General Directorate of Meteorology expected, in its bulletin this morning, that the weather will be relatively hot in summer and generally clear with the appearance of some scattered clouds and dusty mists over the eastern regions, the island and the Badia.
The winds will be southwesterly on the coastal and southern areas, and west to northwest in the rest of the areas, between light and moderate, with active gusts, especially in the eastern and desert regions, and they raise dust in those areas, and the sea is light in height.
