Graduation ceremony for the ninth and tenth grades at the Fuchstal middle school.
This time it took the form of a company party.
Fuchstal
- class teacher Georg Baur, who acted like a manager in his speech and compared the Fuchstal middle school to a company, spoke in humorous words about the fact that the management made the decision to merge "departments 9A and 9B".
At the graduation ceremony in the Fuchstalhalle, the "head of department" commented on the fact that in March - a few weeks before the start of the exams - the two ninth classes were combined and taken to the exams together because a teacher was ill.
Of course, the “company boss” was responsible for the “annual report with the graduation figures”: Rector Eva-Maria Klein reported at the graduation ceremony that all ninth graders have a recognized qualification.
16 of the 29 young women and men have achieved the qualification, for which a grade of 3.0 or better is required.
Three young women and three men the best
All 32 of the tenth graders passed.
Three young women achieved the best grades: Lina Dittel (with an average of 1.22), Emma Linder (1.56) and Melina Steinrötter (1.78).
In the ninth graders, on the other hand, three young men came out on top.
These were Thomas Stadler (grade point average of 1.6), Luis Völker (1.8) and Korbinian Hager (2.2).
The talents of young people are "by no means exhausted" during the transition from school to work, Rector Klein told the graduates and 200 guests in the Fuchstalhalle.
Creativity, curiosity, a sense of duty, diligence, "a lot of courage", perseverance and the ability to work in a team are good prerequisites for personal and professional development.
Mayor Karg is looking forward to it.

Erwin Karg, mayor of the municipality of Fuchstal and at the same time chairman of the school association, addressed this sentence to the discharge students at the age of 57: "You have 45 years of working life ahead of you - I've already had 40 years behind me." Two of the graduates would have it It will definitely not be easy in the training in the next few years, Karg teased and immediately provided the explanation: You will start with the Fuchstal administrative community.
At the celebration moderated by student Anouk Rauschmaier, Stefanie Weiser from the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation honored the best.
After the three class representatives had spoken and after pieces of music by the children from the Fuchstal wind class, the certificates were handed over.
Teacher Georg Baur took over this for classes 9A and 9B, Gertrud Brandl for class 10A ("We met in 2020, but hardly saw each other because of Corona") and deputy headmaster Markus Arnold for class 10B, who gave each prospective apprentice or student one pen handed over.
Music and dance at the end
It was already 8 p.m. when students and parents enjoyed the culinary delights at the champagne reception.
A short prom with dance and music by Robert Zwick and band followed.
After 10 p.m., teacher Arnold put on a neat twist before the big “company party” came to an end.
