Yvelines: her spouse tries to strangle her, she jumps out of the window

Arrested in a building in La Verrière (Yvelines), a 31-year-old man was taken into custody this Sunday morning for having tried to strangle his concubine of the same age during the night.

Alerted by the neighborhood, the police from the Élancourt police station intervened in the early morning in this accommodation located on the first floor, avenue du Général-Leclerc.

It is 3:45 a.m. when they arrive on the spot and discover a woman with a head injury at the foot of the building.

A few minutes earlier, a violent argument broke out within the couple.

According to the first elements collected by the investigators, the young woman had just arrived at the marital home to retrieve her mobile phone, which she had forgotten at the start of the evening.

Unhappy to not know where she was, the spouse explodes.

As she tries to leave the building, he catches up with her on the doorstep and escorts her back to the apartment unceremoniously.

She calls for help but the man tries to strangle her.

Cornered, the victim jumped out of the window to escape the unleashing of violence.

Suffering from an open wound in the head, she was transported to the André-Mignot hospital, in Chesnay.

Her spouse, originally from Arcueil (Val-de-Marne), ended the night at the Elancourt police station.

He is prosecuted for "willful violence against a concubine and repeated death threats".
