After calming the area, the IDF prepared to destroy three terrorist houses in the areas
In recent weeks, in the background of Biden's visit to Israel, the political echelon instructed the security establishment to avoid actions that might lead to unrest in the Palestinian territory, and to focus only on what is necessary for ongoing security.
Now, large forces are expected to secure the ruins of the houses, including that of the terrorist from the Dizengoff attack

The IDF is preparing for the demolition of three terrorist houses, which was delayed due to the visit of US President Joe Biden to Israel. Of the houses - one of which is that of the terrorist who murdered three people in an attack on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv - two have been mapped and the third is in the process of legal approval.
Ahead of Biden's visit, clarification was conveyed from the political level to the IDF to avoid actions that would lead to unrest in the Palestinian territory and increase friction, with an emphasis on the destruction of terrorist homes, and to focus only on what is necessary for ongoing security activities and preventing attacks in the immediate term.
Security officials say that at this stage there is no directive from the political level to avoid demolishing terrorists' houses, but it is still unclear when this will happen.
According to the operational plan of the Central Command, there is no operational-engineering plan to destroy terrorist houses this week, and for next week decisions will be made this Thursday, according to the approval of the political level.

The three houses of the terrorists are located on the border of the Jenin refugee camp, in the village of Romana and the village of Karwat Bnei Hasan.
According to the operational preparations, which preceded Biden's visit to Israel, the demolition of the houses will involve large forces because the buildings are located in hot spots, where violent clashes between the security forces and the Palestinian residents have taken place in the past.
Security officials estimate that the destruction of the buildings may lead to violent reactions during the tense period, but the IDF is prepared for all scenarios.
