The Colombian Ministry of Health recommended this Monday the use of masks "in closed spaces and in places such as care centers, nursing homes, public transport and if you present respiratory symptoms."
This is due "to the increase in cases of covid-19 in the country."
Colombia, which is going through its fifth peak of contagions, registers 96,280 cases of covid-19 in the last 28 days, according to Johns Hopkins University.
