On video: Congestion and delays following disruptions at Tel Aviv railway stations, February 10, 2022 (Yifat Rosenberg)
Disruptions and changes will apply this morning (Monday) to train traffic on the Herzliya-Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon line, due to an infrastructure failure in the train's electrical network.
Until high school, passengers are required to change trains at the Netavg station. Also, due to the repair operations, which are being carried out in the Genot area, there may be changes and delays in the early morning trains in the central area.
Israel Railways stated that shuttles are at the disposal of passengers as a backup at the Tel Aviv Savidor Central and Netavg stations. The train crews are working to repair the fault and return traffic to normal," they added.
The current fault is added to the shutdown of train services between Tel Aviv and Haifa throughout this week, which was announced by the Israel Railways management already last week. The shutdown is caused by construction and renovation work on the tracks in the area. Therefore, continuous travel service Between the two cities sits until late Saturday night.

According to the announcement made by Israel Railways, the date of the works was set in advance for the summer months "when there is a natural decrease in the amount of travel", this despite the fact that it is the holiday season.
