Today, the Russian Foreign Ministry warned the Ukrainian regime against continuing provocations against the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, the largest in Europe, for fear of nuclear disasters.
"We warn the regime of Vladimir Zelensky against continuing provocations against the largest nuclear plant in Europe, which could lead to a nuclear catastrophe that will have consequences not only for Ukraine," the ministry said in a statement, calling on the international community to be vigilant in this regard and condemn the actions of the Kyiv regime.
"The situation around the Zaporozhye nuclear plant is of increasing concern in recent days as the Ukrainian authorities are inflaming the situation by spreading misinformation about the alleged influence of Russian representatives present at the plant on ensuring its safety," the ministry added. in its power to ensure its safety.
In its statement, the ministry indicated that the visit of an international mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency to the Zaporozhye plant, which was scheduled for late last June, failed due to the unconstructive position of the United Nations Secretariat, which refused to support the initiative of the General Secretariat of the International Atomic Energy Agency under contrived pretexts, namely the alleged insufficient security and timing. It is not appropriate for this visit, explaining that the failure of the visit is in the interest of the Kyiv regime and its Western sponsors.
The ministry confirmed that the number of Kyiv's armed provocations against the Zaporozhye station increased several times, as it carried out drone attacks and actions aimed at intimidating the station's employees.
