Music festival in Tunisia, on the Griminelli flutist stage

The Italian Cultural Institute of Tunis has contributed to the organization of the international music festivals of El Jem and Hammamet with the participation, for the first time in Tunisia, of the flutist Andrea Griminelli and the Octa Jazz Quartet. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, 25 JUL - The Italian Cultural Institute of Tunisi has contributed to the organization of the international music festivals of El Jem and Hammamet with the participation, for the first time in Tunisia, of the flutist Andrea Griminelli and the Octa Jazz Quartet .

At the El Jem Festival - held in the Roman amphitheater declared a World Heritage Site in 1979 - Griminelli, accompanied by the quartet, proposed the musical themes of Ennio Morricone that contributed to making Italian cinema known throughout the world.

Griminelli and the musicians of his Quartet enchanted the audience (about 1200 people in El Jem and about 600 in Hammamet) who expressed their warm appreciation to the artists with long applause and an unstanding ovation in both performances.
