The able oud player Kinan Adnawi performed a musical evening on the drama stage at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts, in the presence of a group of the Syrian audience who are connoisseurs of music.
Adnawi began his evening with the play “The Opening of July,” which was composed and distributed by him, followed by “Tango” by the music composer Mohamed Abdel Karbem, and then a “Longa,” which is derived from heritage and redistributed. It is noteworthy that Adnawi is an oud player and academic composer, a graduate of the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus in 2008. He performed many local performances in addition to several foreign participations, and won many awards, such as first place in the International Oud Competition in Lebanon in 2009 and second place in the Arab Music Festival in Tunisia in 2010.
