Through its new campaign, Audemars Piguet celebrates women who have a positive influence in their sector.
Starting with tennis champion Serena Williams, whose tenacity and fighting spirit are an example for an entire generation.
Open the way
In a video made for the occasion, the muse evokes a promise she made to herself, as a witness to the passage of time, which allowed her to fulfill herself:
"Work
hard, be resilient , believe in yourself,
says the tennis player with determination.
Show perseverance, no matter the challenges that
arise, stay true to yourself, lead the way for others
to follow.
The promise I made to myself allows me to have
enough self-confidence to go after my dreams, and dare to
be the best.
»
Audemars Piguet thus values the women who have marked the history of their discipline.
Personalities who have taken advantage of the past to build their future and are aware of the path to be traveled to surpass themselves even more.
Figures of women turned towards the future and whose assumed choices correspond to them.
Carolina Bucci, at the head of her jewelry house, is another example of a woman who, through perseverance, shines in her field.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Royal Oak, an iconic model signed Audemars Piguet, the Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacture is once again collaborating with it.
The result: a limited edition Royal Oak Automatic 34 mm in black ceramic, embellished with a multicolored effect dial that pays homage to the collection's iconic Tapisserie pattern.
An unprecedented game of contrasts, in homage to the 1972 model, and which can be found even on the case of the watch, also designed by Carolina Bucci:
"I wanted to create a rainbow at the place more improbable, a bit
like those multicolored reflections on the surface of puddles in the city,
explains the designer
.
So here we have all the colors of the spectrum on a completely black background, which represents the absence
of color.

This is the third part of the collaboration between Carolina Bucci and Audemars Piguet, launched in 2016, which has seen the rebirth of timepieces of great elegance, combining finesse of execution, meticulous know-how and delicacy of jewellery.
Transmission, passion and precision
The message conveyed by this campaign dedicated to women of influence also finds an echo in the world of cinema, where actresses often embody a certain vision of the future of society.
This is the case of Géraldine Nakache and Déborah Lukumuena, whose fascinating meeting took place thanks to Audemars Piguet, under the watchful eye of director and director of photography Salim Boujtita.
If the first touched everything before finding her place in front of and behind the camera in
All that shines
or
Under the skirts of the girls
, the second knew a dazzling rise with a first big role in the film
Divines
, by Houda Benyamina, which earned him a César at just 22 years old.
Each in turn playing the role of interviewer and interviewee, they discuss the meaning of friendship, the evolution of their profession, or the need to share: "I need to say, to tell", says Deborah Lukumuena.
Géraldine Nakache, for her part, evokes the way one looks at oneself, which changes over time: “Even if I was not like those I adored, I had the right to access a place”.
Whether it's the career of Serena Williams, Carolina Bucci, Géraldine Nakache or Déborah Lukumuena, the notions of transmission, passion and precision appear implicitly.
Values conveyed by the Royal Oak that crosses generations.
