From July 18th to 24th, "Qingyan Hong Kong" released an online questionnaire titled "Opinions on President Xi Jinping's Attendance at Hong Kong's Handover Celebration", and finally received 1,952 valid responses.
Statistics show that 80.17% of the respondents said that President Xi came to Hong Kong to attend the handover celebration, reflecting the central government's support and importance to Hong Kong.
As for President Xi's important speech at the ceremony, 77.46% of the respondents said that the speech strengthened their confidence in the firm practice of "One Country, Two Systems", and 75.31% of the respondents said that the speech strengthened their understanding of "One Country, Two Systems" .
79.56% of the respondents agreed that Hong Kong should "focus on improving the level of governance"; 80.17% of the respondents agreed that Hong Kong should "continuously enhance its development momentum"; 79.35% of the respondents agreed that Hong Kong should "effectively solve the problems of people's livelihood" ; 79.56% of the respondents agreed that Hong Kong should "jointly maintain harmony and stability".
In addition, President Xi also mentioned in his speech that he should "pay special attention to and care for young people", and 76.38% of the respondents agreed with this.
