17-year-old drives 150 kilometers without a license in a stolen bus

A 17-year-old who drove a stolen bus without a license was stopped by the police on the A7 near Kassel on Monday evening.
Kassel - According to police spokeswoman Ulrike Schaake, the operator of a bus company from Hanover had telephoned the Kassel police at around 10:50 p.m have located.
A patrol from the police motorway station discovered the bus just a few minutes later at the Kassel Mitte junction during the search.
The officers followed and stopped the vehicle at Autohof Guxhagen.
During the control, the police officers were amazed when a 17-year-old was behind the wheel of the bus, whose journey without a driver's license ended after more than 150 kilometers, as reported by hna.de.

"Fortunately, according to the current state of knowledge, no one was injured.
No damage could be found on the bus either, the key to which the police officers seized," said the spokeswoman.
The officials brought the youth from Hildesheim to the station, where he was picked up by a guardian.
It is not yet known how exactly the 17-year-old got the key for the bus and what prompted him to drive.
He now faces charges of theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving without a license.
