(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 26 - The Embassy of Italy in Georgian renews its collaboration with the prestigious Batumi BlackSea Music and Art Festival, now in its ninth edition, scheduled this year from 23 to 31 July.
At the end of the Festival, which takes place under the High Patronage of UNESCO, there will be an exceptional concert that will see the participation of internationally renowned Italian musicians, organized with the support of the Italian Embassy itself and dedicated another hundredth anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Georgia.
Among the scheduled musical performances, on 31 July at the BatumiMusic Center, FiSAx, a duo made up of saxophonist Alex Sebastianutto and accordionist Sebastiano Zorza, will perform for the first time in Georgia.
Winners of numerous pre-national and international musicians, the two musicians are among the most important in the Italian music scene and boast collaborations with prestigious orchestras such as the S. Carlo Theater Orchestra of Naples, the La Fenice Theater Orchestra of Venice, the Zagreb Symphony Orchestra and the Berliner SymphonikerOrchestra.
The spectacular music by Marcello, Vivaldi, Galliano and Jobim is scheduled for the occasion.
