Iranian and Emirati foreign ministers discuss strengthening bilateral relations

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian discussed with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during a phone call today, ways to develop relations between the two countries and some regional and international issues.

Abdullahian welcomed the upgrading of relations between the two countries, stressing that it constitutes an important step in the process of developing relations between the two countries.

Abdullahian stressed, "The Zionist entity is a cause of instability and insecurity in the region," pointing out that this entity sought to turn the last meeting in Jeddah into a crisis in the region, but with the wisdom of the participating countries in the region, the issues of regional cooperation, development and security were emphasized.

For his part, the UAE Foreign Minister said: "The peace, stability and goodness of Iran as a neighbor and brother country is very important for the UAE because of its positive impact on it," pointing out that "his country is looking forward to strengthening relations with Iran and has no doubts about restoring the warmth of relations between the two countries and opening up prospects." New".

The Iranian Foreign Minister also discussed, during a phone call today, with his Omani counterpart Badr Al-Busaidi, the strengthening of bilateral relations and the latest developments in negotiations to revive the nuclear agreement and lift the embargo on Iran.

Abdullahian stressed that his country attaches importance to energy and food security in the world and has taken various initiatives so far through its understanding of current energy issues and problems in the world.

Abdullahian referred to the Iranian side's initiatives to keep the diplomatic window open in the nuclear negotiations, stressing that the final stage of the nuclear agreement depends on the elements of realism and flexibility on the American side, and his country is completely serious about reaching a sustainable and strong agreement.

For his part, the Omani foreign minister affirmed that his country always supports reaching a final agreement in negotiations and meeting Iran's legitimate demands.
