Lebanon and Iraq defeated Syria and Palestine by 94-79 points and 67-53 points, respectively, in the second round of the West Asian Basketball Championship for men under 18 years old, currently being held at Al Fayhaa Sports Hall in Damascus.
The first round witnessed the victory of the Lebanese team over the Palestinian team with a score of 101-65 points, while the match that followed the Iraqi team defeated our team with a score of 57-66 points.
The first round competitions will continue tomorrow, where our team will meet with its Palestinian counterpart, and the Lebanese team will meet with the Iraqi team.
At the end of the first round, the first-placed player plays the fourth-placed player, while the second-placed player plays the third-placed player on the 29th of this month. The winners play the final on the 30th, and the losers play for the third and fourth places.
