Opinion The climate cult: there are things that must not be said Israel today

2022-07-26T22:07:35.646Z

If you ask a random person on the street why it's hot, the chances that they won't use concepts like "carbon footprint", "greenhouse gas" or "ocean level rise" tends to zero

We go around the world with a feeling that the end is near.

The climate crisis is a fait accompli.

Many of us stopped consuming disposable utensils, some of us switched to traveling by train, electric car or even bicycles.

We recycle, separate and manage our lives in the shadow of disaster.

But not only the small citizens, the Ministry of the Environment also defined a work plan based on the development of renewable energies.

Israel's energy goals - use of 30% renewable energy by 2030 - require the production of electricity from solar or wind energy.

Only there is a catch here: environmentalists claim that the use of renewable energy is intended to stop global warming, which causes, among other things, fatal damage to nature.

The thing is that solar panels contain substances that are harmful to the environment such as heavy metals.

The rich countries don't want it to leak, so they export these panel waste to developing countries, where they burn it, because it's the cheapest way.

A solar panel stops being effective after 20-30 years.

Its recycling is expensive and long.

Furthermore: it is impossible to rely on solar energy for the anecdotal reason that there is no sun at night.

The use of wind in the land is also puzzling, because there really is no wind in the land.

However, there are large birds of prey that these turbines stand in their way.

But those who take these things into account run the risk of being considered someone who goes against the environment.

And this is another matter: there are things that must not be said.

Not in the scientific community, not in the academic community, not in the political space and less and less on the street.

Even if you ask a random person on Allenby Street in Tel Aviv why it's hot, the chances that he won't use terms like "carbon footprint", "greenhouse gas", "ocean level rise" or "climate catastrophe" tend to zero.

They have all become pseudo-experts fed by extreme and predatory propaganda.

The game is simple: if you don't use these concepts, you will automatically be labeled as a climate denier and will be kicked out of society.

"To say that the change (in temperatures) will be greater in the coming years - you have to base it on something, and this is the weak point in all these models, because the data for the changes to date are not like this," said Prof. Micha Klein from the Department of Geography at the University of Haifa, who appeared in Gilad Zwick's article On Channel 14, where they checked what was real and what was false when it came to the climate crisis.

Prof. Klein added a disturbing fact: all the data banks in the world correct the data of the past, and the rationale of all the facilities is that they want to illustrate the catastrophe.

It is possible to measure the environmental damage caused by the use of natural gas compared to that caused by the use of solar panels.

It seems that before solar fields are sown instead of wheat fields, the Ministry of Environment, whose purpose is to protect the environment, should check the issue in an independent manner that is not subject to interests or pressures.

It's not done.

If it would have helped the environment, there would have been a discussion here.

But it is not, or at least controversial.

We may discover the consequences of this religion in years to come.
