In France, in Europe, on all continents… the inflationary heatwave is global.
This shock wave of an unprecedented magnitude for a few decades is set to last well beyond the summer.
The economy has its cycles which are not seasons, and its evils, much less spectacular than droughts or fires, can be severe and often very costly.
Thus, to mitigate the effects of soaring prices and protect populations, governments everywhere are pouring buckets of financial aid.
With the purchasing power bill alone, the Borne government will add around twenty billion euros to the 30 billion for the energy shield and other devices already deployed.
France is quite simply the European country which supports its citizens the most massively, ahead of Germany or Spain… which suffer no less from inflation.
Should we congratulate ourselves?
At the very least let it be known that the less constructive parliamentary oppositions...
