Palestine Chief Justice Mahmoud Al-Habbash has warned of a new settlement scheme to occupy the Al-Maghariba Gate area and Al-Buraq Wall in the occupied city of Jerusalem, with the aim of facilitating the incursions carried out by settlers and the occupation forces into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Habbash said in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, “The occupation’s attempts to build bridges, parks and tourist centers in the Old City of Jerusalem come in the context of the Judaization schemes targeting the Al-Haram Al-Sharif and its surroundings and to complete the attempts to Judaize it,” stressing that these attempts will fail miserably as they have failed before.

Al-Habbash pointed out that the Mughrabi Gate and Al-Buraq Wall are an integral part of Al-Aqsa and are located within the mosque’s area of 144 dunums. .

Al-Habbash also called on the international community, human rights institutions, and institutions of world and historical heritage to take urgent action to stop the massacre committed by the occupation against heritage, cultural, historical and religious monuments in the city of Jerusalem, which affirms the Islamic and Arab world of the place, according to the decisions of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO.”
