The ministers are expected to reach an agreement during the day, after meeting last night and reaching agreements regarding most of the sections.

It is not clear whether an agreement was reached between the parties on a cabinet meeting with Netanyahu.

According to the polls, the right-wing party is not expected to pass the blocking percentage even in the case of a union with Derech Eretz

Ministers Ayelet Shaked and Yoaz Handel are expected to announce this evening (Wednesday) a joint run in the upcoming elections.

"We are doing our best to close ends as soon as possible so that we can bring a new spirit to Israel," the two said in a statement.

The negotiating teams of the Yamina and Derech Eretz parties met tonight in order to formulate agreements for a joint run.

At the end of the meeting, it was reported that an agreement had been reached on most of the sections, that the parties were close to signing, and that they had agreed to meet later in the day.

Since Shaked took over the leadership of Yamina with Bennett's retirement, the party does not pass the percentage of blocking in the polls, even in the case of a union with Handel and Hauser.

Shaked believes that after the party changes its name, the list will be presented and the messages will be sharpened - the party will improve its situation.

However, it is still unclear whether the parties have reached a joint formula around a meeting with Netanyahu led by the right-wing government.

While Shaked supported this possibility, Handel and Hauser opposed it.

Minister Yoaz Handel and MK Zvi Hauser were left without a political framework after they were not included in the union of Tikva New Hope and Blue and White, when they announced a joint run. An independent frame in their party "Derech Eretz", therefore his commitment came first to his party members.

Gantz also opposed the union with the two after he was not allowed to form a government with the support of the joint list in one of the election rounds.

Handel and Hauser entered politics as part of Bogi Ya'alon's Telam party, then united with Blue and White and split into an independent faction called Derech Eretz, of which they are still members. In the last elections, they ran in the New Hope party and in recent weeks have been in talks to run with Shaked's right wing.
