Now it's official: Dachau will remain the location of the BR hit series "Dahoam is Dahoam".

210 new episodes can be filmed there.

Dachau – The television council of Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR), which produces the television series "Dahoam is dahoam", has agreed that a total of 210 new episodes of the BR series classic can be shot.

A spokeswoman for BR also confirmed the location of the film in Dachau at the request of the Dachauer Nachrichten.

"Dahoam is Dahoam" is the most successful daily evening series in Bavaria and at the same time one of the best-known brands on BR television.

The family series tells a true-to-life, multifaceted and humorous story about the coexistence of all generations in the fictional Bavarian village of Lansing.

The stories from Lansing are more topical than ever and inspire viewers across Germany.

Since the beginning of the series, filming has taken place in Dachau-Ost on the former premises of the Schuster company, where the art city of Lansing is set up.

"Dahoam is Dahoam" runs Monday to Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on BR television.

BR television is the only third-party program that offers its viewers its own daily evening series.

The episodes of the coming week can be accessed in advance in the media library on Thursdays.

In the Facebook and Instagram networks, the series is one of BR's most successful channels: The Facebook channel with 574,000 fans and a reach of millions and the Instagram account with 48,000 subscribers show that "Dahoam is Dahoam" also reaches people across media and generations.
