The public prosecutor of Annecy, Line Bonnet, confirms to us "

to have requested the divestiture in Nanterre from the examining magistrate

".

The latter has not yet ruled on his requisitions but should do so in early August.

The public prosecutor of Nanterre, Pascal Prache, tells us for his part that "

discussions have taken place about this file between the prosecutor's offices of Annecy and Nanterre

".

A mysterious quadruple murder

The slaughter of Chevaline, a small village in Haute-Savoie located a few kilometers south of Lake Annecy, took place on September 5, 2012 on the small forest road of the Combe de l'Ire.

That day, around 3:50 p.m., three people from the same family and a cyclist were shot several times.

It is a Briton, also on a bicycle, who discovers the scene of the drama.

The engine of the BMW station wagon, registered in Great Britain, is still running.

An 8-year-old girl, seriously injured, staggers before collapsing to the ground.

At the wheel, the father, Saad al-Hilli, a British engineer of Iraqi origin, was shot in the head.

In the back seat, his wife, Iqbal and his mother-in-law, Suhaila al-Hallaf are also found dead.

The body of a cyclist, Sylvain Mollier, resident of a neighboring town, lies a few meters away, riddled with bullets.

Eight hours later, a 4-year-old girl, Zeena, is found unhurt hidden under her mother's legs.

Despite DNA traces and casings found on the spot, the leads followed by investigators since 2012 have yielded nothing.

The investigation is now at an impasse.

A British profiler has drawn a psychological robot portrait of the killer.

According to this unpublished legal document, unveiled by

Le Parisien

,

"it is probably a 99% man, aged between 30 and 40"

,

"unemployed or in an unskilled job"

, living alone and having an attraction for weapons.

The profiler evokes the trail of a killer from the region with an unstable psychological profile.
