However, there is a lot of trouble beforehand.
Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) verbally waddled Reiter for his uncertainty about the Oktoberfest.
And the Oktoberfest ban for the controversial Schlager hit "Layla" was also discussed by the innkeepers.
Now the switch to organic chicken is being debated.
Oktoberfest hosts reject conversion to organic chicken
The debate was initiated by a motion by the Greens for organic meat, an animal welfare tax and less methane emissions from barbecue facilities at the Oktoberfest.

They fear that soon nobody will be able or willing to afford the classics such as chicken, roast pork, fish on a stick and beer.
“The changeover to organic chicken at the Oktoberfest makes no sense in terms of price or ecology.
The purchase price is three times as high and the demand cannot be met regionally, ”replied the Wiesn hosts Peter Inselkammer and Christian Schottenhamel.
Her appeal to the politicians: "The Wiesn is a folk festival and our guests are the bosses.
That is why we would like to ask you not to use the Oktoberfest as a political instrument.”
