32-year-old Khalil Kimchi was pulled into a sinkhole that opened up in the pool at a villa in Keremi Yosef about a week ago and was killed on the spot.

In the documentation from the helmet camera of the rescuers who were called to the scene - the pit is seen to be 13 meters deep from the inside, with pool floats and inflatables that fell into it.

The video shows the rescuer descending to the bottom of the dark pit, accompanied by a dog, secured by a rope and wearing a helmet.

Kimchi was pumped to the bottom of the pit and trapped inside one of the tunnels that were exposed under the pool - which was allegedly built without a permit.

Following the network of underground tunnels found at the site, the rescue teams warned that there was a fear of additional sinkholes and the collapse of the ground.

Kimchi was pulled from the bottom after hours of effort, lifeless.

Another man, 34 years old, was also pulled into the pit - but he managed to pull himself out.

The sinkhole opened during a party of a marketing company in a rental villa in the settlement apparently due to poor infrastructure.

The owners of the pool, Rachel and Nathan Meler, were sent to house arrest and are suspected of causing death by negligence, running a business without a license, building the pool without a permit and money laundering.

Khalil Kimchi studied at Katznelson High School in Kfar Saba.

He is a graduate of the interdisciplinary tender and worked in marketing.

The mayor of Kfar Saba Rafi Sa'ar said that he was a loved and special person.

"He went out to hang out at a social event and was killed as a result of poor infrastructure," he said.

"So sad and so unnecessary."
