The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection set the ceiling for selling the price of one kilo of live broiler to the consumer in all governorates at 7200 Syrian pounds.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it, the ministry stated that, in an effort to curb the rise in broiler prices, it set the ceiling for selling live broiler prices to consumers in all governorates at 7200 SP per kilo.
The ministry pointed out that this price was set after coordination with senior breeders and senior owners of slaughterhouses to put an end to this rise by setting the prices of live broilers and circulating it to all directorates of internal trade and consumer protection in the governorates to be adhered to and issuing broiler price bulletins with all its parts and names in light of this price.
The ministry stressed that any violation of this requires deterrent penalties and the organization of seizures in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 8 of 2021.
