Addis Ababa-SANA
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reiterated that Washington's and its allies' attempts to impose their own policy on the whole world and establish a unipolar world are rejected.
Lavrov said during a press conference with his Ethiopian counterpart Demke Mekonnen in Addis Ababa today that Moscow's partners in Africa are aware of what is happening and what the West is trying to do to obstruct and prevent the formation of a new multi-polar democratic world order, pointing out that positions with Ethiopia are identical on global issues and based on adherence to international laws and the Charter of the United Nations.
Lavrov indicated that his talks with Mekonen were fruitful and focused on strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the economic field, developing supply chains between the two countries, and implementing new plans for military-technical cooperation.
For his part, Mekonnen pointed out that the relations between Russia and Ethiopia are close and distinct, and it was agreed to strengthen and develop them.
