An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale hit the city of Antofagasta in northern Chile today.
Reuters quoted the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center as saying: The earthquake occurred at a depth of 200 km, but there were no reports of injuries or material damage.
A 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck Antofagasta, Chile, last month.
