One year after celebrating its twentieth anniversary, the BMW Mini continues to reinvent itself.
In 2030, the English manufacturer will be the first brand of the German group to take the step of all-electric.
By then, its entire range will have been renewed.
This will start next year with the introduction of the new generation of the classic 3-door and will continue with the launch in 2024 of a 100% electric crossover largely inspired by the Aceman study that the manufacturer has just presented.
These two models will inaugurate the new aesthetic language revealed by the Aceman concept and called “Charismatic Simplicity”.
Continuing the habits of the German group that owns Mini, the next Mini will be very close to the study.

Behind a compact size of 4.05 m long, 1.99 m wide and 1.59 m high, the silhouette of the Aceman concept testifies to the growing influence of SUVs on all production.
Verticalized grille, hexagonal optics, square wheel arches, 20-inch rims, raised ground clearance, green plastic sills, roof rack in the shape of a Union Jack flag: the Aceman adopts the codes of the perfect adventurer .
Its closed grille betrays the presence of an electric traction chain but its characteristics are not yet known.
They should be close to those of the current electric model.

A central screen in the form of 45 rpm
Not content with offering incredible roominess in terms of its compactness thanks to its electrical architecture, the Aceman surprises with the audacity of its atmosphere.
The designers started from scratch to imagine an extremely stripped-down dashboard.
The instrumentation facing the driver has disappeared.
The flat dashboard looks like a soundbar.
The inspiration of the world of hi-fi still transpires through the central screen with OLED technology which looks like a 45 rpm record.
Another innovation: the surface of the dashboard serves as projections for animated images and useful driving information.
As for the central tunnel installed between the two seats, it is modular and houses cup holders, a wireless charger and storage.
The production version of the Aceman will be launched in the course of 2024.
