At about 6 a.m., it was reported that a goods vehicle was travelling along Sai Kung Highway towards Sai Kung. When it approached the junction of Tai Chung Hau Road, it suddenly hit a male passer-by about 80 years old.

The male passer-by was caught under the car again and dragged for more than 10 meters before stopping.


The fire and ambulance personnel rushed to the scene to rescue the report. Suspected that the rescue was difficult, the fire scene supervisor immediately reported to the peak and asked the Hospital Authority to dispatch medical assistance.


Until about 6:30 in the morning, the injured had been rescued, but fell into a coma and was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital by ambulance.
