Syria and Lebanon defeated Palestine and Iraq by 87-55 points and 92-62 points, respectively, at the conclusion of the first round of the West Asian Basketball Championship for the U-18 category held in Al-Fayhaa Sports City in Damascus.
The Lebanon team topped the rankings at the end of the first round with three victories over Syria, Palestine and Iraq, followed by the Iraq team with two victories over our team and the Palestine team, then our team with one victory over the Palestinian team and finally Palestine without any victory.
The first-placed Lebanon will play the fourth-placed Palestine, while the second-placed Iraq will play the third-placed Syria on the twenty-ninth of this month.
