The Syrian Arab Republic won the position of Deputy Secretary-General of the General Union of Arab Writers and Writers during the meeting held by the Union Council in Damascus on the 26th and 27th of July.
The election was won by unanimous vote, to fill the position of Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani, head of the Union of Arab Writers in Syria.
Yesterday, Damascus hosted the work of the meeting of the General Union of Arab Writers and Writers Council, with the participation of delegations from 12 Arab countries, under the title "Writers for Arabism", at the Al-Assad National Library in Damascus.
