The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Hama fined a gas station and 8 bakeries with sums of money for committing offenses of tampering with measures and producing poorly made bread.
Riyad Zayoud, director of internal trade and consumer protection in Hama, said in a statement to SANA reporter: The work of the directorate focused on controlling the Aziziyah fuel station with a shortage of enough and fining the station about 7 million Syrian pounds.
He added: The rationing seizures also included seizures of gasoline trafficking against one of the shops, and the weight loss of a bundle of bread against Hanjour and Al-Othman bakeries in Deir Salib, Bareen Al-Gharbi, Bareen Al-Sharqi, Al-Bayadieh, Kafr Kamra, Soran Al-Gharbi and Hama Al-Awal Al-Awwal, and a fine of 12 million Syrian pounds.
He explained that the consumer protection patrols organized seizures against the Soran Automated Bakery for its production and distribution of poorly made bread, violating the conditions for transporting bread against one of the authorized persons, and controlling the presence of live insects in semolina prepared for use in a sweets workshop, with the organization of seizures of food and non-food samples for analysis and to indicate the extent of their conformity with the Syrian standard specifications.
In Homs, the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection organized, during the past 24 hours, 69 violating seizures.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Homs, Engineer Rami Al-Youssef, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the seizures included three gas stations, the first in the city, the second and the third on the Homs-Hama road, for violating the cutting of an electronic card for gasoline belonging to a broken car. Take the necessary legal measures against them.
Al-Youssef indicated that the seizures also included three supply bakeries in the town of Al-Mushrifa and the villages of Laftaya and Fahel for violations of the production and packaging of poorly manufactured catering bread and underweight. Children bearing the date of validity and company in the village of Tannourine for the violation of issuing illegal and local invoices in the wholesale market in Al-Hal Market, the first for the violation of not issuing invoices, and the second for the violation of possession of bananas of unknown origin.
