Tonight: Highway 5 will be blocked between Gilit and Kfar Hirok due to construction
The section of the road between Gililot Mizrah and Kfar Hirok will be closed to traffic from 11:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
The police will be present at the scene and traffic will be diverted to road 482 Ramat Hasharon.
The entrance to the road from the west towards the coastal road will be allowed.
Alternative routes are available to drivers and it is recommended to use the navigation apps

Route 5 between Gililot Mizrah and Kfar Hirok will be hermetically sealed tonight (Wednesday) - from 11:30 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
This is due to work to dismantle signage bridges and in coordination with the police who will be present at the scene.
Alternative routes are available to the driving public, and it is recommended to use one of the navigation applications for traveling on parallel roads.
The entrance to Highway 5 West from the Green Village Interchange will be blocked and traffic will be diverted to Highway 482 Ramat Hasharon.
The entrance to road 5 west towards the beach road will be possible at the Gilit interchange.
The blockade is being carried out as part of the works on the Ministry of Transportation's "Fast Lanes" national project, through the Ayalon Routes Company, which includes the construction of public and cooperative transportation routes along the Ayalon routes and the coastal road.
