, the Minister of Labor judged that it was "
necessary
to go further
" on this file, drawing inspiration from the Canadian system to promote the return to work.
“
Our compensation rules must take into account the situation of the labor market, as does, for example, Canada.
When things are going well, we toughen the rules and when things are going badly, we relax them
”, detailed Olivier Dussopt.

We will have a consultation with all the trade unions and professional organizations and how we can improve the effectiveness of unemployment insurance in terms of encouraging recovery
," said the minister on Wednesday evening, on BFMTV.

when things are going well the rules are a little tougher and when things are going badly the rules are relaxed to be more protective of the workers
”.
