When turning off the B472 in the direction of Festenbach: Peugeot crashes into the rear of the VW

A Schlierseer (21) came too close.

He was no longer able to brake in time when the vehicle in front had to stop due to traffic.

Because a young driver drove too close, it rattled on Tuesday afternoon on the B 472 near Wall at the junction towards Festenbach.

– Because a Schlierseer drove too close, it rattled on Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. on the B 472 between Müller am Baum and Kreuzstraße in the Warngau municipality.

According to the police in Holzkirchen, an 84-year-old from Gmund, coming from the direction of Miesbach, wanted to turn left in his VW onto state road 2365 to Festenbach.

But he had to stop because of traffic.

A Schlierseer (21) driving behind him had overlooked this and was unable to brake in time due to the insufficient safety distance, reports the police.

His Peugeot crashed into the rear of the small VW car.

Luckily no one was injured in the crash.

However, the Schlierseer's Peugeot was no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away.

The property damage amounts to a total of around 4500 euros.
