(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 28 - The conflict in Ukraine, food and energy security, but also the stabilization of Libya and the situation in the Sahel were the topics at the center of the meeting, in Ottawa, between the Director General for Political Affairs and Security of the Farnesina, Ambassador Pasquale Ferrara, and his Canadian counterpart, Heidi Hulan.
Ambassador Ferrara, on an official visit to Canada on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Canada, was accompanied by Ambassador to Ottawa Andrea Ferrari.
The meeting with Heidi Hulan was also attended by officials from the Privy Coucil Office (Presidency of the Canadian Council).
Mission objective: to structure a strategic dialogue on political and security issues between the two countries.
