In the coming school year, the Tutzing middle school will move to the Bundeswehr barracks in Feldafing and its own building will be renovated.
As a farewell, the parents' association invited teachers and students to ice cream.
Tutzing
- That was a surprise yesterday in the Tutzing elementary and middle school: There was ice cream for everyone.
The occasion was the farewell to the fifth to tenth graders, who are about to move out: in the next school year, in September, they will move to a building in the Feldafinger Bundeswehr barracks due to the upcoming renovation of the middle school and go to school there for several years.
The parents' council and the school's support association came up with the ice cream campaign because a summer party couldn't take place.
"The children were totally happy," enthused Vice President Marianne Fentzloff.
The parents' council and the association paid for the ice cream together from their budgets.
The Tutzinger beverage store across the street provided beer benches free of charge, which then offered comfortable seating in the playground.
At ten o'clock sharp, some classes were ready.
At first they had to wait, because the ice cream truck ordered for this time from a Tutzinger provider was a long time coming.
But the joy was all the greater when he then drove to the playground.
You could lick the whole morning.
The organizers had issued vouchers to the teachers, which they distributed.
Gradually it was the turn of the 20 classes of the school.
There were two balls each for the approximately 400 students – and of course for the teachers too, if they wanted to.
Even from the graduating classes that said goodbye on Friday, some of the young people who had actually finished school came specially.
