Kremlin propagandists have a clear goal: "Russia will set the world on fire." In their view, however, Putin needs help from Donald Trump.

Moscow – Almost five months have passed since Russian troops invaded Ukraine.

President Vladimir Putin had hoped for quick success, but there has long been no talk of that.

The advance is slow and the number of casualties seems to be increasing.

The "special military operation", as the Ukraine war is called in Russia, is still not going smoothly for Putin's army.

This also has something to do with the behavior of the West, which has been unexpectedly united since the start of the Ukraine conflict.

In addition, the Himars rocket launchers supplied by the USA are making life difficult for the Russian military.

What shall we do?

Some Putin allies think they know the solution.

To turn things around, they need an energetic helper.

Apparently, there is one person above all who can be the rescuer in an emergency: Donald Trump.

Russia wants to support Donald Trump

At least Kremlin propagandists recently discussed again on the

Russia 1

channel whether Moscow should help Donald Trump and the Republican Party with the Midterms of 2022 after all.

"Bring Trump on," said moderator Vladimir Solovyov, who also recognized common values between Trump and Putin, but not between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Andrei Sidorov, associate dean of world affairs at Moscow State University, described the US as "our main adversary."

But the problem for Russia is that the political system there is "much more stable" than, for example, in Europe.

Because of this, Trump would serve Moscow's interests better because he could light the fuse for "total internal collapse" in the US.

Russia relies on Donald Trump for help

Sidorov also pointed out that for such a plan to work, Republicans would need to win the midterm elections.

Russia should “help with this”.

To which Solovyov said, "We can do it."

It is beneficial for us,” said the military expert.

"We will put an end to the existence of the old world and begin a new era, a new phase - led by Russia." A template that Solovyov used for a final word: "We will set the world on fire." (
