Regensburg's swimming pool is number 1 of the most searched for outdoor pools - then comes Munich

A consumer portal evaluated online searches for outdoor pools in Germany.
Bayern emerged as the winner in the ranking.
Regensburg/Munich – Summer has arrived in Bavaria.
For weeks, the heat with temperatures of over 30 degrees has been a constant companion in everyday life.
Only one thing helps against this: Cooling off in the outdoor pool.
The consumer portal vergleich.org took this as an opportunity to check which outdoor pools in Germany people are looking for the most on the internet.
Bayern emerged as the big winner.
1st place goes to Regensburg: Westbad is the most sought-after outdoor pool in Germany
With the help of the monthly online search queries, vergleich.org has
created
an evaluation: Which outdoor pool is checked online most frequently?
With 103,330 inquiries, first place clearly goes to Regensburg, namely to the Westbad.
The outdoor pool has a lot to offer for young and old.
Among other things, there is an adventure pool with a slide, a water swing and a grotto, a diving board and a beautifully designed children's pool.
The Schyrenbad occupies fifth place in the ranking of the most sought-after outdoor pools in Germany.
The Ungererbad in Schwabing-Freimann came in second.

Second place also goes to Bavaria: The second most searched outdoor pool in Germany is the Ungererbad in Munich (84,380 online searches).
In Schwabing-Freimann, one of the longest outdoor pools in Germany is almost 90 meters long.
In third place is the Brentanobad in Frankfurt with 69,230 - the largest outdoor pool in Europe.
In fourth place is the Sommerbad Kreuzberg in Berlin (68,480) and the fifth place is again in the Bavarian capital - the Schyrenbad in Munich (64,250).

Poll winners: Bavaria dominates in current rankings
Five of the ten outdoor pools evaluated in the ranking are in Bavaria.
In general, the Free State is often a poll winner.
In an evaluation of the most livable small towns in Germany, 23 out of 30 are in Bavaria.
Among others, Planegg, Oberhaching, Neubiberg and Dingolfing are at the forefront.
