Swimming accident in the outdoor pool: man (31) found dead in the water

A 31-year-old man died in an outdoor pool in Burbach on Thursday.
Lifeguards had found his lifeless body in the water.
Burbach – The lifeless body of a man was discovered in the water at an outdoor pool in Burbach (NRW) on Thursday (July 28).
The 31-year-old is said to have died in a diving accident in the pool.
The police are investigating.

Lifeguards found the motionless man around 10:35 a.m. in a pool in the outdoor pool in Burbach, near Siegen, reports 24RHEIN.
Rescue workers were still fighting for his life.
A rescue helicopter was also deployed.
But in vain - the 31-year-old could not be saved.
He died on the spot.
The police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
"The background to the cause of death is currently unclear," the police said.
As the
Siegener Zeitung
reports, citing its own information, the man is said to have completed diving exercises in the water.
This was apparently apnea diving, i.e. a diving exercise in which you stay under water for as long as possible without taking a breath.
The 31-year-old fell unconscious.
