Now the "Beat the Star" moderator wants to face the challenges in the jungle camp.
However, his circle of acquaintances advises him not to take part in the IBES.

But TV veterans also want to face the jungle tests.
The former "TV Total" show intern Elton now admits that he is very interested in participating.

For years, Elton was seen alongside Stefan Raab as a show intern on the hit show "TV Total".
He quickly made a name for himself on TV and now not only moderates "Schlag den Star" but also has his own quiz show.
"Blamieren oder Kassieren XL" runs after the new "TV Total" with Sebastian Pufpaff on ProSieben and can already shine with good ratings after a few weeks.
But Elton seems to want to slowly take off the red jacket.
At least temporarily for participation in the RTL show "I'm a star - get me out of here".
Although the 51-year-old is reluctant to be a candidate, he would make an exception for the jungle camp:
"I'm very, very keen on going in there.
But everyone advises me against it," Elton reveals to his fans on Instagram.

"I think to myself: if not now, then when?" the TV presenter asks himself.
It remains to be seen whether Elton will soon swap his red jacket for a T-shirt and cargo trousers and face disgusting jungle tests.
The candidates for the new IBES relay have not yet been determined.

After Daniel Hartwich announced his IBES end at the end of last season, his successor has been known for a few weeks.
Jan Köppen will moderate the jungle camp with Sonja Zietlow in 2023.
