The MDA team that arrived at the scene gave him medical treatment and performed CPR on him, but in the end had to pronounce him dead on the spot. According to the Mayor of Kiryat Malachi Eliyahu Zahar, Lipesh was a member of the Chabad community in the city, who participated in placing tefillin in one of the nearby stores before the accident.

Attorney Yaniv Yaacov, CEO of the Or Yerok association, asked to send his condolences to the families of those killed in the accidents.

"Traffic accidents are a national scourge that affects all sections of the population and sows pain and sadness in many families. To our heart's content, this is the result of a poor order of priorities by the State of Israel, which neglects the fight against carnage on the roads. When the traffic police lacks two hundred vehicles, when money is cut to improve infrastructure on roads and at risk centers, and when activity is not focused Among at-risk populations, the result is red, dangerous and deadly roads," Yaakov said.

"The State of Israel has been lagging behind all European countries in the last decade in changing the number of people killed in traffic accidents, and this is a certificate of poverty and failure for the governments," added the CEO of Or Yerok, "how many more people have to pay with their lives until someone in the Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety decides to put an end to this failure that destroys more From 300 families every year?

The order of priority must change.

Saving lives and reducing road accidents must be prioritized by transferring budgets for the safety of all of us.

We must stop terrorism on the roads."
