A 14-year-old girl from Baden-Württemberg is still missing, but a corpse found in Hesse raises questions.

The police are investigating a possible connection.

Freiburg – After finding a female body in the Wetteraukreis in Hesse, the police are examining a possible connection with a missing person from Baden-Württemberg.

A 14-year-old girl from Gottenheim has been wanted since July 21.

The investigation of the body found on Friday should now bring clarity.

As a police spokesman explained on Saturday in Freiburg, a forensic examination of the discovered body should clarify the identity and cause of death.

No further information was given.

Since July 21, the police have been looking for the young people at full speed.

She left her parents' house in Gottenheim around 6 p.m. and has been missing ever since.

The police had also tried with dogs and supported by a police helicopter to find the girl.

A group of investigators was specially put together to deal with the case.

In July, a terrible crime took place in Baden-Württemberg.

A young woman was initially thought to be missing, but shortly thereafter she was found dead in the Mercedes-Benz employee car park.

Now there is a suspect.
