Although less than a year has passed since she learned karate, Lamar Ajeeb was able to prove her worth and ascend to the podiums in the first republican championship she participated in for the U-12 category.
The player, Ajeeb, born in 2011, explained in a statement to SANA that her attachment to the game prompted her to train hard to develop her technical and skill level.
Al-Madi, who weighed under 48 kg in the category of under 12 years in individual combat, also won with her club the second place in the team fight, outperforming more experienced and older players.
Ajeeb pointed out that her ambition is not limited to local participation, but she will work hard to improve her level and win other titles to ensure her presence in the national teams in the future and to secure external participation in which she achieves an advanced position and raises the national flag high.
For his part, the Karate coach at Al-Suqaylabiyah Club in Hama Hayyan Tajour indicated that his player was able, thanks to her love of the game and her perseverance in training, to achieve advanced positions during a record period. Her level to participate later in the last Republic Championship, indicating that she has good talent and great love for the game and expects her to have a distinguished future if she continues her activity and enthusiasm for years to come.
Tajour indicated that the Al-Suqaylabiyah club player Ajeeb trains continuously with about 80 male and female players, and despite the lack of equipment needed to play the game in an appropriate manner, the enthusiasm, rush and desire to win championships are the main motives for continuing the training.
