The Department of Health of Puerto Rico announced this Friday eight new diagnoses of monkeypox, with which there are now 21 cases of the disease.

The government agency explained in a statement that the new cases “are men and correspond to the following age groups: 20 to 29 years old (4 cases), 30 to 39 years old (1 case), 40 to 49 years old (2 cases) and 50 to 59 years (1 case).
