The family service in Reichenkirchen by Deacon Christian Pastötter was all about shoes.
About shoes and big footprints left by the children's church service team.
Reichenkirchen
- Deacon Christian Pastötter celebrated a solemn, joyful, but also a little sad family service with musical accompaniment from the Reichenkirchen Children's Choir and the Church Choir of St. Michael.
The sermon was about shoes.
And it was about big footsteps, namely those of the retiring helpers in the children's service team.
In front of the altar in St. Michael's Church, Pastötter set up shoes for his sermon and reflected on the functions of different types of shoes.
He also thanked "those who have left their mark and brought the children closer to God on many different occasions year in and year out".
After many years of volunteer work, the children's service team left (from 2nd from right): Caroline Brenninger (5 years), Maria Lanzinger (5 years), Bettina Heinemann (27 years), Eva Schraufstetter (12 years).
As a thank you, there were coffee cups with a surprise filling.
Pastötter also welcomed the new members (from left) Melanie Pfanzelt, Verena Nett, Tanja Graf, Andrea Liebl and Waltraud Dreßen.
