"We will not sit with them": this is what Michal Shir thought in the recent past about a torch to which she moved from a new hope | Israel today

The member of the Knesset from Tikva Hadada switched to Lapid's party when in the past she made several harsh statements against Yesh Atid and its leader • In the past she slammed Yesh Atid: "Different from the populist opposition that only talks - I came to do real work"

Member of Knesset Michal Shir announced today (Sunday) her joining Lish Atid.

Shir, who grew up in Likud and migrated with her patron Gideon Sa'ar to New Hope, is now finding a third political home in her short career.

As a service to the Chairman of Yesh Atid and Prime Minister Yair Lapid, "Israel Hayom" brings some of Shir's positions - in the (new) hope that they did not change until the publication of the article.

About three and a half years ago, Shir tweeted this decisive statement to her followers: "A large and strong Likud is creating a blocking bloc against the left-wing Lapid-Ganz government. I can reassure you that we will not sit with them."

In a Facebook post from that time, she wrote with the same amount of fervor: "Each vote will determine whether a right-wing government with experience, proven actions and ideology will be established, or a left-wing government lacking political and political experience. It depends only on you - only Malah!"

About two years ago, after the publication of the Centennial Plan, Shir flanked US President Trump on the right and wrote: "A closer look at the map published by the White House raises the concern that those who planned it did not see sovereignty, as we are promised, but the establishment of a Palestinian state. A map that becomes Settlements blossom into enclaves, cutting off main transportation arteries and drying up growing Jewish communities. It's not a map of sovereignty - it's a map of division. We in Likud promised sovereignty and we will maintain sovereignty.''

And every other word is simply unnecessary...

Good luck to both parties.

In July 2020, also about two years ago, Yesh Atid's bill concerning the law on unemployment benefits for the self-employed was harshly criticized: "We rejected this law because it is a poor and cynical joke at the expense of the self-employed, who rightly cry out for real assistance. We rejected it because it is one of the worst laws that existed in the Mishkan ", Shir wrote, then in Likud, to her fans on Facebook.

Beboaz Toporovski, the new chairman of her faction, slammed her in a televised confrontation: "I'm pretty sure you didn't stop for a moment to read the law."

Finally, she ended with an emotional statement: "Unlike the populist opposition that only talks, I came to do real work - because I am one of your people in the Knesset!"

For sure, now it is true.
