149 passengers tried to fly in the last two months from Tel Aviv when they tested positive for Corona Israel today

At the airport they found out about this after those people underwent an institutional check-up and their medical condition was updated in the system.

An alarming statistic has come to our attention - almost 150 passengers tried to leave Israel when they were positive for Corona, after they had performed an institutional check and their details were recorded and synchronized with the Ministry of Health's systems.

The figure refers to the last two months, from the end of May until today, when only in July there were 73 passengers who tried to board a flight from Israel when they were defined as positive by the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health and the airlines are concerned about the high figure, and senior officials in the aviation industry tell Israel Hayom: "This figure is probably much higher because we often hear about passengers who are not checked by an institutional inspection on purpose so as not to miss their vacation. This is irresponsible and puts other passengers at risk."

It seems that many of the passengers are not aware of the fact that the systems of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Interior are synchronized, which means that those who are defined as positive are not allowed to leave the country if they are tested in an institutional test.
