36-year-old wants to save young cat – local resident then finds her seriously injured in the courtyard

When trying to save a cat, a 36-year-old was seriously injured.

There was a young cat on the roof of a multi-storey residential building - but a woman's plan in Cham led to disaster.

Cham – A tragic accident happened at the weekend in the Upper Palatinate: a woman probably fell while trying to save a cat from a house roof.

The 36-year-old was seriously injured.

After the accident in Cham (Cham district), a rescue helicopter flew the injured to a hospital.

The police made the announcement on Sunday, July 31.

After her fall from the third floor, a resident found the injured woman in the courtyard of the house.

She immediately alerted the emergency services.

At the time of the accident on Saturday, July 30, a young cat was on the roof of the multi-storey apartment building.

Therefore, the officials are currently assuming that the woman wanted to save the animal.

How exactly the accident could have happened is still unclear.
