Three more female patients in Kwai Chung Hospital's Continuing Care Ward contract the virus

In addition, a staff member in an intensive care unit of Kwai Chung Hospital was diagnosed on July 20, and three more female patients aged 52 to 59 were infected with the virus in the same room. The hospital is investigating the connection of the four cases, and the patient has been transferred to Princess Margaret. The hospital received isolation treatment and all conditions were stable, while the two people in the same room were listed as close contacts.

Guan Huimin said that the ward staff and patients will be arranged for testing, and the ward has been temporarily suspended from receiving new cases and visits, and will be cleaned and disinfected.

Guan Huimin is concerned about the infection in the hospital, and also said that all visitors are required to provide a negative nucleic acid test certificate. If the relevant certificate cannot be provided, the hospital may make sympathetic arrangements, such as receiving the rapid test results, but the relevant person will still need 2 days later.
